Surgical Intervention— There are also surgical treatments for UI that are clinically proven to reduce bladder leakage. However, in addition to the risks associated with invasive surgery, studies have shown that 20% of men require at least one additional surgery to address related issues and over 50% use continue to use pads permanently after surgery.

Stress urinary incontinence?
Get the facts.
Bladder leakage? It’s not just a female problem.
According to the Canadian Continence Foundation 1 in 6 men over 40 lives with distressing urinary symptoms. Unfortunately, very few ever talk to their doctor about them.
UI affects your quality of life in many ways.
Men who experience UI often suffer from reduced self-esteem, physical activity and independence. More than an inconvenience, UI is a chronic condition that causes stress and reduces your quality of life.
SUI? Stress urinary incontinence.
There are several types of UI. However, if you happen to lose urine during everyday movement or activity, such as walking, coughing, lifting, exercising or changing position, you may have Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI).
If urinary incontinence were a country, it would be the third largest in the world!
