Your Contino® Journey: What to Expect From Your Very First Call

Taking the first step toward managing urinary incontinence can feel daunting. Many men spend years quietly adapting around their symptoms before seeking support. If you are considering Contino®, we want you to know exactly what the process looks like from start to finish, because there are no surprises here, just a clear, supported path toward regaining control.

More Than a Device

Contino® is not just a urethral insert. Contino® Care is a fully integrated support system that combines education, professional guidance, and a personalized fitting with healthcare professionals who are experienced in treating incontinence. The goal is to help you manage bladder leakage with dignity and independence at every stage of the journey.

Step One: Your Free Continence Assessment

Everything starts with a free phone consultation with your Contino® Support team. This is a no-commitment conversation where a member of our team will take the time to understand your symptoms, your history, and what you have already tried.

During this call, your Contino® Support will complete a continence assessment to determine whether your symptoms align with what Contino® is designed to address. If Contino® is a good fit for you, the next step will be arranged from there.

Step Two: Your Fitting With a Contino® Trainer

Once your assessment is complete, you will meet with a Contino® Trainer, a healthcare professional with hands-on experience treating incontinence. Your Contino® Trainer will carry out a physical assessment, take measurements for your personalized fitting, and walk you through how to use the device.

There may be a separate appointment fee paid directly to your Contino® Trainer for this session. We will always let you know if a fee applies and what the cost is before arranging your appointment.

Step Three: The 30-Day Trial

After your fitting, you will begin your 30-day trial period. To get started, the trial costs $150 CAD which includes everything you need for your trial – Contino® inserts, supplies and a Contino Support Representative to assist you through your customized progression program designed to optimize your control with Contino®.

Throughout the trial, your Contino® Support team will work closely with you, answering questions, checking in on your progress, and adjusting your program as needed. The trial period is designed to give you real-world experience with the device and the confidence to use it as part of your daily routine.

Step Four: Contino® Care Membership

At the end of your trial, you can choose to enroll in Contino® Care, an ongoing membership that keeps everything you need coming to you monthly. There is no long-term commitment and you can cancel at any time.

As a Contino® Care member, you will receive:

• Contino® devices
• Lubricant as needed
• Personalized fitting and ongoing adjustments
• Behavioural therapy and a personalized progression program
• A daily diary and your Contino® Care guide
• Unlimited telephone and in-person support

The membership is built around continuity. Your Contino® Support team and Contino® Trainer remain part of your journey with regular follow-ups scheduled throughout, so you are never left to figure things out on your own.
